New Age Music is absolutely perfect as relaxation music: Well, maybe except of the music which aims directly at healing deep blockers within you. This kind of music is not suited for general relaxation, because part of the healing process might include getting in touch with old blockers or traumas. Which is necessary at times, but not very relaxing by itself. Different ways of relaxation with musicI would say that you can use relaxation music in at least 3 different ways: Simple relaxationEverybody knows how to do that :-)) . It's simple - but you have to take some time to do it!. You let your self sink back in your favorite chair, and let the music play. Close your eyes. This can take an hour or it can take 20 minutes. The important part is that you become totally passive and that you let the music do the work for you. Relax you and recharge you. Choose music that can relax you without craving your attention. Relaxing body movementMany people need to move their body in order to calm down. Complete relaxation seems to be too much at times, or too passive. If your body feels all stiff after a whole day's work, or if you can't feel your body at all, then light body movement is just the right thing to do. For this choose music that has a laid-back, easy rhythm with a deep undercurrent of peace and quiet. The latter is important, so try to be aware of how the music you choose affects you at the moment. Puhkar's Silent Explosion has a very fine rhythm and energy, both life-affirming and peaceful.
Listen to the music, let your body react to the rhythm, stretch your muscles (lightly), dance maybe (just a little), become flexible and alive again. Feel your body, the natural you flowing with the music. Another option involving body movement is yoga, tai chi etc. You can learn those by watching some of these relaxation videos. Once you've learned how to do it, you can do the exercises without watching the film, just with the relaxation music of your choice playing in the background. Creating a relaxed environmentIt's important that you take a break from time to time to relax and recharge. But it's just as important to create a relaxed environment around your work, an environment that supports both you and the work you do, rather than stressing you. How to do it depends greatly on what kind of work you do. Take some time now to think about what you can do to improve your working environment. If you have a possibility to create changes around you that's great.
This relaxation music cd is being used as background music in thousand of homes and work-places.
