No Stress Music - what it is

Many years ago, as a recording company realized the need and the popularity of music that could relieve stress they created a music compilation they called "No Stress". As it turned out they were not the only recording company that came up with that splendid idea. The result: there are several music CDs carrying the No Stress title.

Finding the right No Stress music CD -
when there's too many to count

Searching for the right No Stress music CD can easily lead to confusion and frustration. Not only are there several different compilations with that name. You can't count on the name either: Some of that music is indeed relaxing. And some is not, I'm afraid.

There's no magic in the "No Stress" name

It's just not enough to find a music CD with the No Stress name attached to it. If you really want to prevent or relieve stress you'll have to do it right. You'll have to find out for yourself which works for you.

I'll do my best to show you the various CDs available. It's your work to listen to samples and to see how it feels. Some music is just right for you. Some is not.

Some of the best relaxing music CDs don't have the No Stress label at all :-)

Unlike the "no stress music" marketing people, real composers of stress relief music that works give them other names. Maybe it's because their music is not about stress at all!
